Meds (2007)(Brit-Alternative) Placebo - Meds
A band that has steadily been building a catalog of great albums. Most of them very good but Meds probably broken them closer to a pop sound. Though Poppy in nature it delivers the emotion wrought with angst, love, death, crime, drug addiction and pain. Every song is a powerhouse whirling you up and down with its ever changing tempos. Probably one of my most listened to albums of 2006. All I can say is you have to experience this album. i won’t do it justice in explaining the nuances here.
