Under the Iron Sea (2006)(Alternative) Great band, Average effort. They put a lot of work into this album but it falls flat overall. Sounds like a movie soundtrack.

Hopes and Fears (2004)(Alternative) This album is a work of art. Though I am not a person who typically likes a highly produced or overly produced album, I do like this album. It is very well done. This band has been compared to Coldplay but for the life of me I cant see any resemblance other than the fact that they are English. If you want to compare them to a band you would do better to compare them to Travis or early Radiohead. The lead singer sounds a bit like the two bands and the overall atmosperic sound reminds me of both also. But that aside this album is song after song of memorable songs that will have you wanting to sing along. You will have these songs in your head for a long time. rating:
